English Premier League giants Arsenal coming to Sydney

English Premier League giants Arsenal are set to play back-to-back blockbusters in 2017 against Sydney FC on Thursday 13 July at ANZ Stadium and Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday 15 July at the same venue.

“It’s 40 years since Arsenal last visited Australia, so we’re delighted to partner with and play in one of the world’s great cities where we have a very strong and loyal Arsenal following,” said Gunners’ legendary manager, Arsene Wenger.

The two Arsenal matches are expected to attract more than 28,000 domestic and international visitors to Sydney.

With one of the biggest fan bases in the world, Arsenal have vowed to treat their fans in the Southern Hemisphere to a week of fan engagement and events, which are now being finalised.
