The Muglan

How do you please an Australian Nepalese man?

There is a saying “The way to a man's Heart is through his Stomach”.

Then make your way to The Muglan Nepalese Restaurant.

Muglan is located on Liverpool Street walking distance from the hotel, do give them a visit especially if you fancy trying a different cuisine.

Some may say the food is similar to Indian cuisine however it’s not, yes there are similarities however you’ve got to try it to believe me.

This place does traditional Thakali food (a very popular ethnic group in Nepal) along with other popular ones.

You do not have to go all the way to Nepal and trek 5500 metres to Everest Base Camp for Nepalese food.

These guys are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

Difficult to choose the best from their expansive menu, however do try the “Thakali Set” a traditional set of Rice, Curry, Daal, Greens, Yoghurt, Salad and Chutney.

They do have Nepalese Street food style snacks, which is favoured by local Nepalese Sydneysiders and you will see them in big groups in this venue.

The Best way to enjoy Nepalese food is in groups so you can try many items off menu as possible.

Lastly how can I forget the “Momos” (Nepalese Dumpling), They have from my memory 6 different Momo dishes.

I am just glad that whenever I need my dumpling fix I know where to go.
